Tekken Revolution is de eerste game uit de Tekken serie die het concept van Free-To-Play omarmt. Deze game is exclusief voor de PlayStation 3 gratis te downloaden in de PlayStation Store. Met aanpassingen aan de gameplay voelt Tekken Revolution aan als een mix tussen Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Tekken 6 en Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Tekken Revolution richt zich grotendeels op het aantrekken van nieuwe spelers met een lagere moeilijkheidsgraad, de toevoeging van Critical Arts en Special Arts, en de mogelijkheid om jouw character te versterken op het gebied van Strength, Endurance en Vigor.
